Motor Vehicle Register – Public Disclosure Statement (Section 241 LTA 1998)
Avon Investigations Limited is authorised under section 241 of the Land Transport Act 1998, and the relevant Gazette Notice issued to members of the New Zealand Institute of Private Investigators (NZIPI), to access names and addresses of registered persons held on the Motor Vehicle Register.
We may obtain this information only for the following lawful purposes:
- Preparing evidence relating to criminal offences
- Detecting and investigating suspected fraud
- Enforcing court orders and judgments
- Carrying out enforcement functions when contracted by a government agency
Your name and address may be obtained from the Motor Vehicle Register for one of these purposes.
