The fact the NZ Police are under resourced is well documents. For you, this means there is often a gap where certain matters should be investigated but don’t meet the Police threshold or are likely to take too long. That’s where we come in—we operate in that space, conducting investigations and preparing files (including files prepared for prosecution) to allow police to prosecute (if appropriate).

Our investigations cover any matter where you need an independent, factual, or evidence-based outcome. We specialise in finding information you know exists but can’t access yourself, or in giving you practical advice about whether it’s achievable. There’s very little we can’t—or won’t—investigate. Great question! In many ways, there isn’t much difference. Our team actually brings a wealth of experience from their time with the Police. The main difference is powers; the police have access to additional resources and information by virtue of their authority. This doesn’t stop us investigating and using a range of tools and resources available to us.
