Do you attempt service at different times of day?

Yes, as people have differing routines, workhours and other factors, we’ll purposefully vary the times of our visits to ensure the best chance of achieving service.

How does the process serving procedure work?

We make it as simple as possible! You can head to our upload page and follow the instructions of what we need. If you’d rather reach out on phone or email, that’s fine too! We’ll make it as simple as possible! We just need to know who the documents are for, where they need to be served and provided with the documents for serving and we’ll do the rest.During the service attempts, we’ll keep you updated and let you know when it’s completed (or if there are any issues with completing service).If you don’t know where they live, have a look at our tracing page to see how we can help you

What if I’ve got several people to serve and they’re all over the country, can you handle that?

Yes absolutely, we have a team of agents on hand to complete service on multiple groups. Previously we have served documents on groups of up to 30 people across New Zealand and internationally. We can form the best strategy for successful service, or we can work with your preferences. When it comes to reporting the service, we can update you on each successful serve or report at the conclusion.

What happens if the recipient becomes aggressive or threatening during service?

Our agents’ safety is always a priority, but our team are experienced and comfortable making hard decisions under pressure so will do all possible to serve your documents. If the risk becomes too great, we’ll discuss it with you and establish if there is an alternative option (e.g. trying to serve with another of our agents or changing the approach). If we can’t guarantee our agents safety, we’ll advise of next possible steps or options available to you.

Can you serve someone at their workplace, or only at home?

Workplace is fine, we’ve had success serving people at their workplace. We’ll usually discuss this with you to ensure the person isn’t unnecessarily embarrassed or the situation agitated unnecessarily.
